Important Notice for Hibid Customers

We are writing to inform you about a fraudulent campaign currently targeting HiBid customers.

What You Need to Know: Threat actors have been sending targeted phishing emails that contain a link to a Google Forms page designed to look like an official HiBid form. This form asks recipients to enter their credit card number for a “2024 HiBid membership fee.”

Important Details:

These phishing emails are coming from randomized email addresses ending in @ascend.wix.com.
HiBid, United Country, and Great West will never request credit card numbers through email or send emails through wix.com.

What You Should Do:

Exercise caution when interacting with any emails that appear suspicious.
Do not enter your credit card information on any Google forms linked from these emails.
Report any suspicious emails from Wix domains by forwarding them to reportphishing@wix.com. This is an efficient way to slow down the campaign.

If you have interacted with the form and entered credit card information, immediately notify your financial institution to avoid potential account fraud.
